On the new moon, I had an owl hoo hoo hooing outside my window that inspired me to paint this barn owl. The barn owl symbolizes wisdom, intuition, and the ability to see beyond deception. It is often regarded as a messenger between the physical and spiritual realms. In various cultures, it represents transformation, protection, and the uncovering of hidden truths. Its silent flight and nocturnal nature symbolize the power of stillness, inner wisdom, and navigating through darkness with courage.
